Programmed Calendar of TTC Module 1,2,3&4 – (TOTAL 432hrs) Barcelona
Module 1: (108hrs) taught in Spring ( April 2022) by Alessandra Oram, with final examination and review in July 2022 by Dario Calvaruso
Module 2: (108hrs) taught over 3 weekends (between May and June) by Alessandra Oram, with final examination and review in July 2022 by Dario Calvaruso
Module 3: (108hrs) Early August 2022 – 2 weeks intensive course by Dario Calvaruso
Module 4: (108hrs) Late August 2022 – 2 weeks intensive course by Dario Calvaruso
Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam – The Essentials of Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa
These teacher trainings focus on how to practice and teach a collection of 12 series named Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Mālā. The syllabus is structured in 4 distinct modules.
Each module of 108 hours consist of:
– an in-depth study
– practice
– teaching skills of three series.
The full syllabus of 12 series is covered in 4 modules (432 hours).
Syllabus
Theories:
- Sanskrit phonetic and terminology
- Viniyoga and karaṇa
- Nine primary units of movements (nava-karaṇa)
- Nine types of composition (nava-vinyāsa)
- Essentials on how to create pre-sequences (upakrama) and sequences (krama)
- Distribution (vibhāga) and frame (tanu) of a sequence (krama)
- Essentials of Navakaraṇa methodology and teaching skills (śikṣā paddhati)
Practical:
- In-depth study and practice of Navakaraṇa Krama Mālā
(Three series per module. Please refer to the charts) - Alignment, adjustments and assisted stretch
